Two vampires wanted to go out to eat, but were having a little trouble
deciding where to go.  They were a little tired of the local food in
Transylvania and wanted something more exotic.
After some deliberation they decided to go to Italy because they had heard
the food was really very good. So off they went to Italy and stopped in
Venice.
On the Bridge Of Sighs, they hid in the shadows and waited for dinner to
come along.  A few minutes later a young Italian courting couple came
walking their way.
As they neared the vampires made their move. Each vampire grabbed a person
bit and sucked them dry and tossed the body into the canal below.  The
vampires were both very pleased with their first meal and decided to wait
for seconds.
Another young couple approached a few minutes later and suffered the same
fate as the previous couple, sucked dry and then thrown into the canal below
the bridge.
Although now fairly full the vampires agreed to have one more course of
natives to round off  the evening.  In a short while a third young couple
crossed the bridge caught by the vampires, sucked dry and thrown over the
side of the bridge. 
The vampires decided Italy was lovely but now better head for home.  As they
started to walk off the bridge they heard singing but could not see anybody
near them. As they listened harder they realised the voice came from below
the Bridge of Sighs so leant over and saw a huge alligator in the water
feasting on the bodies they had thrown over.  They listened as the alligator
sang his happy song
